The Glasgow Institute of architects are running an ideas competition, to reimagine the Cumbernauld town centre megastructure. The prizes - £1000 for first, £500 for second, and £250 for third - are modest, but worth a punt.

The building, designed by a team led by Geoffrey Copcutt (1928-97) is currently threatened with demolition.
