Jeremy Gould in his talk will discuss how the influence of modernism is expressed between 1939 to 73.
Jeremy and Caroline Gould wrote about this in their book 'Coventry -The making of a modern city 1939-73'' for Historic England, 2016.
Jeremy Gould is emeritus professor of architecture at the University of Plymouth. He is an award-winning architect and wrote books on the post-war rebuilding of Plymouth (2010) and Coventry (2016, with Caroline Gould) for English Heritage/Historic England.
Following the talk we anticipate doing a walking tour of central Coventry on Saturday 19 July.
