Ana will explain the history of Span and the origins of the buildings, as well as the connections between their architects, clients and the area.

The 2 hour tour’s route starts at the main entrance to the Cator Estate, by Spangate (1964).

Highlights include no.10 Blackheath Park (Patrick Gwynne, 1969), no.20 (PeterMoro, 1958) and Rocque Lane (Walter Greaves, 1968).

We will be able to visit inside a Span house (1967) and will end the walk at South Row (Eric Lyons, 1963) by the open heath.
